As British Waterways have
been dredging the Grand
Union Canal from Gayton
Junction to the north entrance
to Blisworth tunnel.
They have been spreading
the spoil on the fields to the
west of the canal from bridge
47 to the junction.
The photographs shows many
hectares of spoil drying before
being ploughed in.
