We left the moorings around mid day with Diana’s mother for a few days trip to Claydon and back. We went as far as the bottom of the Claydon flight where we winded and moored for the night.

We set off at 9 o’clock and arrived at The Wharf at Fenny at just after 11 am. My daughter Natasha, her husband Simon and my Grand Daughter Bethan joined us there for Sunday Lunch. After lunch we all cruised back to our moorings at Napton arriving at 5 o’clock. Diana’s mother took them all back to their car at Fenny on her way home. We carried on down the flight only to be met by my son and his girlfriend who joined us for a meal at the Folly Pub at the bottom of the flight before where they had left their car. We stayed on the visitor mooring by the Folly overnight.

We set off at 8 45 and arrived at Braunston at mid day where we emptied the tank and filled with diesel before returning to our moorings at Napton Top Lock.
